Top Star Lee Gun-Woo - Chapter 9: Born Handsome (4)
Chapter 9: Born Handsome (4)
The moment he put the first word in his mouth, he thought of an image.
The image of emotions became a picture in his head and became distinct.
It was a memory of his past life.
In his previous life, he went through many separations.
There were good farewells and extremely sad bereavement.
It would be an emotion that he would never experience at his age, which would drive him crazy if he experienced it now.
It was very wrong because he couldn’t pay attention to his pitch, but it was even more touching.
The gentle voice of the lyrics made Seung-yeop, the girl, and everyone around him pause for a moment.
The boy playing the guitar forgot to play for a while, but Gun-woo’s voice did not stop.
The intense sadness contained in a nice mid-to-low tone felt like a performance.
Even without the accompaniment, it stole the audience’s ears.
The passersby stopped one by one and approached Gun-woo.
Gunwoo felt more and more emotional.
But he didn’t bother trying to stay immobile.
Gun-woo felt strange.
The flow of his energy accelerated and his lower abdomen heated up.
It wasn’t beginning to accumulate in an area.
Rather, his consciousness expanded and his energy operated stably.
He is showing a much more intense flow than when he invested a lot of time to use the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method.
He was overcome by his emotion and could no longer control the flow.
He suppressed his reason and raised his consciousness to his emotions.
As he went towards the climax, his tone became rough and a rough voice, which was not a splendid high-pitched tone by accurate vocalization, exploded with emotion that matched the lyrics well.
His energy radiated to the outside created an intense momentum and became one with his voice.
“The night we parted…!”
Gun-woo said the last lyrics.
There was silence for a moment until Gun-woo lowered the microphone and exhaled a long breath with a relieved heart.
He opened his closed eyes
Seung-yeop was looking at him with his eyes wide open, and so was the girl.
When he looked around, he saw that there were three times more people than before.
Clap clap! Clap clap clap!
Applause broke out.
Gun-woo was stunned by such a baptism of applause.
To be honest, he can’t really remember how the three minutes passed.
It was all about being aware of the explosive flow of power in the middle.
It felt similar to going through a trance when he fell into the middle of the swordsmanship.
It felt like he had a good dream, so he felt refreshed whether he sang well or not.
Gun-woo’s expression was bewildered at the unexpectedly good reaction.
The girl clapped her hands violently and wiped tears around her eyes.
And after sniffing, she looked at Gun-woo again with a reminiscing face.
Seung-yeop’s eyes were also moist.
“Wow, that’s no joke.”
“Who are you?”
The intense reaction around him was awkward, but it felt good to be recognized.
Gun-woo handed the microphone to the girl.
Gun-woo, who slightly avoided her eyes full of respect, looked at Seung-yeop and opened his mouth.
“Hey, you’re sober. Let’s go for round two.”
“Oh, oh oh.”
Seung-yeop answered Gun-woo’s words in an uncomfortable way.
Seung-yeop looked blank.
Gun-woo laughed at the tear marks around Seung-yeop’s eyes.
“Why are you crying so grossly?”
“Don’t I look more handsome because of tears?”
Gun-woo frowned at Seung-yeop’s words and shook his head.
He walked to find a bar.
“Hey, you sing again. Did you go to any mountain?”
“There are a lot of kids who sing better than you, to be honest… I mean, do you feel like someone else doesn’t?
“Gill. What kind of judge are you?”
“Anyway, try again.”
“Well, if you pay me a lot. It’s been a while.”
Gun-woo said so, passing Seung-yeop’s words over.
He apologized to his mother for telling him to come back and sing again.
Gun-woo’s mother told him to try it again, but he couldn’t shake that feeling easily.
Seung-yeop looked at Geon-woo as if it was a pity, then smiled.
“Hey! Singer, that’s great!”
“It’s good shit. Hey, let’s have fish roe soup. Don’t be a nuisance.”
“Ugh, tch. Aish. Okay, cool.”
Gun-woo burped and looked at Seung-yeop, who was staggering ahead, and contemplated his inside for a moment.
Obviously, his strength was greatly increased.
It certainly revealed its presence, though still insignificant.
It was many times as much as just playing soccer.
He looked at his clothes and saw that they were damp from the excreted alcohol.
He has been sober for a long time.
His mind was much clearer than before he drank.
‘Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method… I thought I had fully interpreted it’s basics…”
Nothing is perfect in the world.
It really made him feel stupid that he was still thinking such arrogant thoughts.
How many secrets did the Three ill-fated years method that all third-rate martial artists know about?
Whether it was good or bad, it is just a difference in usage.
Gun-woo kept thinking.
“Hey, what are you doing? Do you want to poop?”
“Don’t be silly. Let’s go.”
His consciousness that had been immersed in deep thought came to the surface.
Gun-woo, who had said that to Seung-yeop, who was ahead of him, erased his complicated thoughts and smiled on the corner of his mouth.
Gun-woo and Seung-yeop drank until 5 in the morning that day.
* * *
After meeting Seung-yeop, Gun-woo took more time and devoted himself to training.
Recalling the sensations he felt that day, he used the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method, but it was just the same as before.
When he stopped his immobility and raised his emotions, the circulation of his energy became more active.
In general, when learning martial arts, emotions were an obstacle that could express one’s value.
His teacher also said that one can achieve the desired state only by forgetting all his disgraced seven passions .
‘There is not one correct answer.’
If it had been in his previous life, he would have rushed towards that path without any doubt.
However, the present Gun-woo is different because his memories and the values of his present and previous lives are combined.
Rather, he was able to contemplate martial arts from a more objective point of view.
Gunwoo seriously considered whether he had approached it too much from a deserted mindset.
Gun-woo sat on the floor of the room and began to meditate, thinking of the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method.
He tried to put all his realizations he had known by properly examining each core.
There were new things he could learn, and there were many things that were still unclear.
That was the core of this mysterious martial art.
The Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method was not a typical martial art.
The clumsy herbivores didn’t even know it was a device to hide the true value of the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method.
It was only by letting go of his immobility that he could approach the true nature of the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method.
But he hesitated.
Immobility made him more mature and allowed him to make rational decisions.
Without being swayed by his emotions, it allowed him to look at the current situation calmly and objectively and pinpoint the future direction.
So his feelings now were limited.
It was also a way to abandon human beings and become a god.
What’s the point of achieving that?
Without pain, sadness, and good feelings, he wouldn’t have lived.
His mother also wanted Gun-woo to live happily.
Gun-woo tried to forget his immobility.
Then, the emotions that had been blocked soared up like an explosion, and the energy on his lower abdomen fluctuated accordingly.
It was only now that Gun-woo realized that he had truly laid the foundation for the Self-isolation Spiritual Accumulation method.
This was not this world’s negligence.
He denied the fact that he was ignorant of the sects, but it was just a difference in if it was used for good or evil.
‘Creating a new world in this world.’
That was the central point he realized.
It could have been called a reverse stream, but from the beginning, nature was something that could not be interpreted only by rationality.
‘Did he learn this martial art properly?’
He remembered the beginning and the end of his life, but the middle was empty.
There was more he didn’t know than he knew.
He fell into trance.
The explosion of emotion opened up a new path for him.
: He was joking that Gun-woo had gone to some trial that improved his singing.
Seven passions: the seven passions (of joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hate and lust)
