The activation time was already completed so I used teleport to go back to the mansion’s forest.
I’m still amazed at this ability.
To cover many days worth of journey with just a single spell even though it’s still incomplete… the full version would surely be even handier.
And with such thoughts, my admiration for the high-grade magic was renewed once again.
I used the [Teleport] 15 times.
Since I’m still trying it out, I transported myself to various parts of the forest.
Using chant to achieve my magic count limit, I used 3 for the Ladon Juniors, 1 to go back, and the rest were used to practice.
After the magic count was used up, I teleported once again.
As I’m still far from mastering it, I still heavily rely on the dragon emblem.
My admiration came out unconsciously.
Lately, my comprehension of the flow of magic has become sharper.
Because of that, I can now determine the duration of magic activation just by reading the magic flow.
Right now, [Teleport] needs one day to activate.
With repeated training, I figured a condition for its mastery.
It’s not about the number of activation days but the number of usage.
Normally, for magicians who can’t do simultaneous magic, they would usually measure how many days it takes to activate because they can only practice by activating one magic at a time.
But my master has taught me how to use simultaneous magic.
Currently, I can simultaneously use 19 magic with chanting.
Because of that, I managed to gather up 15 times worth of [Teleport] in three days and was able to use it in one go.
Realistically, I reduced roughly 45 days of training into 3 days.
And as of now, I can activate it 15 more times in a day.
And in 4 days, I have accumulated 3 months’ worth of practice.
At this pace, in a month, no, since it will speed up from now on, I would probably master [Teleport] in a week.
If I upgrade my current limit to 23, it would probably speed up even more, right?
….This is really hard.
I could hear Ladon laughing inside my head.
He seems to be having fun… I wonder if something happened.
(You really are interesting. That’s what I am thinking just now.)
(Humans are… when granted with power, it’s common for them to drown in pride and flaunt their powers. But, a human who uses their power to gain more power is rare.)
(That’s why you’re interesting.)
Was he complimenting me?
I don’t understand.
Anyway, ignoring Ladon’s words, I chanted and prepared 15 [Teleports] for later.
Back to the basics.
Remembering those words, I put [Teleport]’s mastery as my first priority.
Though, I quickly faced a problem.
High-grade sacred magic: [Teleport].
As it is under high-grade category magic, it used a pretty large amount of magic power.
If I keep this up, then there will be no magic power left for the 15th [Teleport].
It’s already confirmed that if I do 15 more times of teleport, the activation time would surely decrease.
After doing it, I’m sure that I will be tempted to do another 15.
And I can’t just wait for my magic power to recover naturally.
That’s why I resorted to [Back to Basic].
I canceled my current progress on [Teleport] activation.
In exchange, I summoned a bunch of Gnomes and Salamanders.
I gathered a large amount of Lekkro grass around this forest and using Gnomes and Salamanders, I converted them into Lekkro Crystals.
It’s an item to recover your lost magic powers instantly.
The amount I needed to recover my magic power is greater than the amount I used.
That’s why I made it in large amounts.
After creating Lekkro Crystals enough for 100 times [Teleport], I used it to recover my current magic power and prepared 15 [Teleports] once again.
After that, all I have to do is wait.
I waited for a whole day… and the moment the morning sun rose, I activated [Teleport].
I teleported here and there without any meaning for the whole morning.
Reading the flow of magic power, I confirmed that [Teleport]’s activation time had been largely reduced.
My admiration easily flowed out from my mouth.
I spent one whole day on it but after casting 15 [Teleports], the time had been reduced from 1 day to just 2 hours.
I recovered my lost magic power with Lekkro Crystals and once again, prepared 15 [Teleports]
And then wait for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, I repeated my actions.
Teleporting here and there around the forest, the activation time had been reduced again to 15 minutes from 2 hours.
It has been reduced by a large margin, but it’s still not enough.
It’s already good enough for moving around but, in case of battle, if I have to run away or chase someone, then I need more.
15 minutes is still too long for battle purposes.
Once again, I used Lekkro Crystals to recover my magic power and prepared 15 [Teleports] once again.
After a 15-minute wait, I teleported myself around the forest again.
It was reduced to one minute!
If it’s one minute, then I can use it at the last minute, even in a battle.
But, one minute’s still…
I need to be faster than my enemy.
So I repeated the process again, “This is the last” is what I thought.
One minute passed before I knew it.
I teleported 15 times around the forest.
With this, I have mastered [Teleport].
I don’t have to stack up to 15 times anymore. Now, it will activate the moment I do it.
[Teleport] magic that normally needs half a year to completely master…
I did it in just a day.
Translator Notes :
Now the author is just messing around with his own lore.
The raw is really bad, in 43, he described Teleport as magic to move to a place he has been. Now, he said that it’s bad to suddenly teleport to a place he has never been to before.
*sigh*, obviously, I omitted it. Feel free to check the raws if you guys think I’m wrong.
Also, if somebody is willing to do the math on his explanation of magic count, feel free. My head hurts, but I’m sure it’s wrong.
I believe yesterday he needed 3 days to summon 3 Ladon Junior, now he just used 1 day to straight-up gather 15 counts of Teleport? that’s clearly messed up.
I can’t believe this got into LN format.
Translator and Editor Notes :
Here we go with this ‘interesting’ bs. Ugh…
You really don’t know humans. Tsk, tsk…
 Oh wow. How convenient!
