“Is it really okay to create a village right here?”
(Look behind you.)
I did as I was told and turned around.
That side is supposed to be a plain but… several meters ahead, the ground had become a cliff instead.
It’s like there’s a sudden division between this land and the other side.
(Try getting closer to that side.)
I nodded and walked closer to the cliff while the elves are following me from behind.
Just as I paused at the very end of the cliff, I asked Ladon once again…
(Stretch your hand forward.)
When I did what he said, the emblem on my right hand started to emit light.
It was proof that Ladon is dwelling inside my soul, the dragon emblem.
The light brightened and then, when it reached its peak, it burst with a shattering sound of glass.
And at the same time, a [Space Breaking] phenomenon happened in front of my eyes.
It was like watching a shattering mirror, and as the light subsided… it appeared.
The cliffs disappeared, and on its place is a vast land.
It’s a wide grassland with a field of wildflowers decorating this fantastic view. We can also see the forest not too far away.
Butterflies and dragonflies were flying here and there, and there’s also a hare that jumped out from a rock nearby.
I can obviously see that this place is an untouched, rich land.
The Sealed Land.
“What happened just now? Was that Liam-sama’s doing?”
“Such a beautiful place…”
I can hear various comments from the elves behind me…
“This place is?”
I asked Ladon.
(One of the many lands that I have sealed.)
Ladon didn’t answer.
He doesn’t want to answer.
“Err, anyway, does this mean that we can use this land? Is that your intention?”
(Yes. Use it as you like. It’s also fine to build a country on this land, you know.)
I felt like Ladon’s last comment was a form of teasing.
Ladon must’ve heard my conversation with Reina and the others at that time.
I could only bitterly laugh at it, and turn around.
“This place is protected and sealed away by the Dragon God Ladon.”
I picked out my words carefully and said to them.
“The Dragon God said that it’s fine to use this place.”
“Thank you, O’Dragon God-sama!”
“Thank you, Liam-sama!”
Though it’s obvious to thank Ladon for this… why am I included? It’s not a bad feeling though.
Together with the elves, we stepped our feet inside the sealed land.
In order to decide a place to build the village, the first thing that we have to do is to search for a good water source.
…and that’s what we’re doing for the past hour but…
“It’s really hard to find one…”
Reina who’s been with me, and the others who are also searching for a water source, finally let out their frustrations.
For a rich land like this, there’s bound to be a water source somewhere.
It’s a bit troubling since we haven’t even found a glimpse of it.
“…alright, how about this, [Undine]!”
I called forth a low-grade water spirit for help.
Since I’ve already mastered the summoning spell for low-grade spirits, they quickly answered to my call.
“Followed with… [Familia]!”
With contract magic, it evolved into a middle-grade water spirit, [Celcius].
I haven’t mastered the summoning magic for middle-grade spirits yet, so for temporary measures, I’ve got to rely on this
2 steps and inefficient method.
The water maiden evolved into a beauty and knelt in front of me.
“I give you my thanks, my master.”
“We’re searching for a water source to use for daily necessities. Can you do it?”
“Please leave it to me.”
She bowed further. I suppose she wanted me to believe in her abilities.
Then, she quickly stood up and turned to the direction of the rising sun.
She stretched one of her hands in the air.
It was then… the water erupted from the ground tens of meters away from us.
The elves showed their admiration.
Gradually, the erupting water column lost its momentum, but it remained as a fountain.
When I looked closely, the spring water that spurted out from the ground claimed the ground around it, becoming a small river.
“Is this what you desire, Master?”
“It’s perfect, thank you.”
“Your satisfaction is my delight.”
After talking with Celcius, I turned my attention to the elves.
“Let’s make this place into your base village.”
“Next is… I have to bring people with architectural skills.”
The one they created in that forest is no-good.
It’s only good for survival.
We were given a rich land.
Since it’s an opportunity, I want to create a proper house as well… a proper village.
Three days after…
It was morning.
While observing the elves’ activities, I summoned a Ladon Junior while accumulating the [Teleport] activation time.
Right now, I can summon a Ladon Junior in a day. After all, the difficulty is lower than [Teleport].
Accumulate it in 3 days, and I now have 3 Ladon Juniors.
“I will be gone for a while. In the meantime, these guys will keep you safe.”
“Eh? This cute thing would?”
Reina was a bit shocked, and also unconvinced.
“Even with that look, it’s Ladon’s children. They’re strong. 3 of them is enough to defeat all of the hunters in the Hunter Guild.”
“I will show you its power.”
With my order, one of them stood up with two legs, just like a human.
Then it raised one of its legs, slamming it to the ground.
The ground shook with a loud noise.
It’s like an earthquake.
The others lost their balance and fell down, creating a big turmoil.
But since it’s not an enemy attack, they regained their bearings quickly.
“To be able to summon something like this means Liam-sama is more amazing!”
Everyone was praising me after experiencing a Ladon Junior’s prowess.
“That’s the gist of it.”
I reached out my hand and helped Reina to stand up.
“With these guys around, you guys will be absolutely safe.”
Reina’s expression has become lively again.
Translator and Editor Notes :

Ed: They should say “how wonderful!”, “awesome!”, “incredible!”. Something like those instead of just Amaaaazing. Lol
